Job Description

Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for a Content and Communications Assistant for a Solihull based events and buying company.This is a brand-new role as part of a marketing re-brand and re-structure that has happened last year, we are looking for a Communications Assistant on a 6-month fixed term contract to oversee the planning and delivery of email marketing, website updates anddata reporting.The idea candidate will come from a similar background and have a good knowledge and experience of social media and digital marketing, with particular experience in content writing and internal/ external communications.This is a great opportunity to work as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced role.Responsibilities & day to day duties As a Content and Communications Assistant you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborate with product teams and designers to create Product Directories, ensuring content accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Compile and distribute weekly updates to Members and maintain the member portal with Hub Champions.
  • Keep web content current and accurate, including news, personnel changes, and product information.
  • Review monthly web and SEO reports with external agencies and implement necessary changes.
  • Produce social media and digital marketing assets aligned with the annual planner.
  • Draft case studies, news stories, and blogs highlighting Members and Suppliers.
  • Support content scheduling and logistics for editorial and marketing meetings.
  • Provide feedback on campaign effectiveness using tools like GA4 and social media monitoring platforms.
Skills & experience required.
  • At least 12 months experience in a marketing role with a focus on content and communications
  • Knowledge and experience of social media and digital marketing, including knowledge of the latest technology within a business environment.
  • Ability to produce quality work on Adobe or Canva
  • Understanding and familiarity with working with Web content management systems and bulk email communications
  • Skilled in writing engaging copy with strengths in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
  • Enthusiastic, self-confident, and self-motivated.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
