Job Description

Head of Estates (Development + Disposals)As the UKs biggest Pub Company, Stonegate Group have an extensive property portfolio nationally. We are looking for a RICS General Practice Chartered Surveyor to head up our new Development and Disposals Team as our Head of Estates (Development + Disposals)Reporting to and working collaboratively with the Director of Estates, the Head of Estates (HoE) (Development & Disposals) takes responsibility for all disposal activity within the Stonegate property portfolio.The Head of Estates will lead and motivate a team of Estate Development Managers and Estate Managers as the success of the team is critical in supporting the Group strategy to identify and extract optimum returns from the companys portfolio of propertiesand land.Ultimately this role oversees the team responsible for delivering the Groups disposal proceeds budget. The team members will be doing this by either:

  1. Identifying operational assets for disposal at attractive EBITDA multiples (Estate Managers)
  2. Facilitating the identification and development of alternate use opportunities for excess land/parts of operational properties (Estate Development Managers - EDMs)again at attractive multiples.
The ability to work alongside the other HoE (Operations) is critical to ensure an aligned approach to Estates matters throughout the business. The role will also require the ability to work alongside a number of internal disciplines, particularly the OperationsDirectors and also a network of external professional contacts agents and solicitors.The position is field based but will require an appropriate proportion of time in the Solihull office liaising with other head office functions. The role will involve travelling throughout the UK and ongoing liaison with field based team members, third partsuppliers and agencies.Why join Stonegate Group We can offer you
