Job Description

Are you a qualified English Teacher or experienced English tutor looking for a new challenge This award winning SEMH school is looking to recruit an English tutor to work on a small group and 1-2-1 basis with students who require additional support inEnglish. As an English tutor you will be planning and delivering lessons for student who have struggled to engage with lessons.You will be encouraged to deliver creative and interactive session thatinspire a love for English and help children to overcome barriers to education. Excellent subject knowledge and strong behaviour management skills are essential for this role. This is anexcellent opportunity for an English Teacher or English Tutor who is looking to move away from mainstream teaching and enjoys working with children who have faced academic or social barriers. This role is based onsite Monday to Friday 08:30 - 15:30.Job Role:

  • Teaching English to KS3 & KS4 students
  • Tailoring lessons to suit needs of individual students
  • Making lessons engaging, interactive and informative
  • Supporting children with special educational needs in their studies
