Citrus Recruit are excited to be recruiting for an Email Marketing Specialist for a Solihull based events and buying company.This is a brand-new role as part of a marketing re-brand and re-structure that has happened this year, we are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to oversee the planning and delivery of email marketing, website updates and data reporting.This established company has been trading for over 50 years and have developed themselves to be a leading buying brand primarily in the retail and fashion sectors.This is a great opportunity to work as part of a close-knit team in a fast-paced role. The ideal candidate must have background in a marketing team delivering email campaigns, and must have experience using Mailchimp.Responsibilities & day to day duties As an Email Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for:* Oversee the traffic management and adhere to a regular schedule of upcoming emails, including monthly newsletters and bespoke updates and announcements.* Manage the email marketing process and schedule for shows working alongside other teams (marketing, events and product team) ensuring they are created, approved and published on time.* Creating segments and campaign profiles for targeting and trigger activity.* Overseeing email databases across the platforms used (Member, Hub, Event Management Platform)* Support the Membership email campaign process and schedule ensuring that they are created, approved and published on time.* Support in the design of e-mail marketing templates ensuring they align to brand guidelines and are refreshed and updated in order to improve performance.* Effectively and critically report on e-mail campaign performance. Implement, A/B testing across content, subject lines, template designs etc with learning in mind. Implement strategies and processes to introduce automation and impactful landing pages.* Manage user lists and e-mail audiences. -oversee the upload and unsubscribe process.Skills & experience required.* Strong understanding and previous experience of email marketing and best practices* Must have experience using Mailchimp* Excellent up to date understanding of the latest and best performing email / SMS marketing campaigns.* Demonstrate experience of managing databases* Working knowledge of HTML, web CMS and CRM* Understanding of digital marketing campaigns* Ability to translate data analysis into useful insights and actions to optimise performance and make recommendations.* A professional, credible, and confident communicator, with excellent writing, oral, editorial, and proofreading skills.Benefits* Salary of up to £27,500* Hybrid working 3 days in the office (Flexible on days but Monday is a must being in)* 25 days holiday plus bank holiday (Christmas closure)* Can purchase 5 days holiday.* Birthday leave* Pension* Employee assistance program* Additional benefits through a salary sacrifice scheme.* Car parkingCitrus Recruit acts as an employment business when introducing candidates for permanent employment with a client.
