Job Description

Were looking for a Service Coordinator to work for our client, who are a leading Air Conditioning and Chiller service provider throughout the South East.If you can demonstrate experience of planning and organising engineering delivery, ideally within an HVAC or other engineering sector then you could be perfect for our client, and wed love to see your CV.Responsibilities of this Service Coordinator role:

  • The organisation of planned preventative maintenance, unscheduled reactive repairs, and ad-hoc installation activities within the service team
  • Liaising with technical and operational colleagues to plan and organise PPM activities according to the required contract schedules, ensuring no incidences of late PPM delivery
  • Organising ad-hoc small works according to the resources available and the needs of the customer
  • Taking responsibility for the delivery of all services at nominated contract accounts
Requirements:
  • Experience of planning and organising engineering delivery, ideally within an HVAC or other engineering environment
  • Additional experience of facilities management, HVAC service or other critical engineering sectors
  • Further experience of liaising with 3rd party suppliers and sub-contractors
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels, maintaining excellent relationships with key contacts both internally & externally
  • Able to get to grips with technical issues to a level whereby you can get the right specialists involved. And talking to each other, so that solutions can be identified. You will coordinate these interactions and will learn to understand when to revisita discussion or dig deeper to uncover something that may not have been apparent on the first attempt
  • Able to face challenging situations in terms of availability of resource, whether materials or labour, and will enjoy thinking outside of the normal process to investigate what can be done
  • Able to understand that process is there for a reason and needs to be followed, but also that sometimes it sometimes needs to be challenged to achieve the outcome for the customer
