Job Description

Autosmart International is a manufacturing and distribution success story. We make vehicle cleaning products that make our customers lives easier, and our network of franchisees offer fantastic service to the customer. We have doubled in size in the last10 years to sales of £35m with a strategic plan to grow by 50% over the next 5 years. We are investing £30 million in our new, state of the art production facility, and will be switching over to our first ERPsystem this summer.We have a rare, full or part-time, opportunity for a people development specialist with previous hands-on management experience to join our People Team and help drive high performance across the business. Youll be training and coaching our leaders and staffto help them achieve their business and personal development objectives, within our Autosmart culture and values.Strong working relationships contribute hugely to our business success and helping our 160 people be their best every day is a key business objective that will guide our focus through this exciting growth period. We have 11 function leaders and half of ourleadership team are relatively new to the business. Of our total headcount, 70 have been with us over 5 years and 60 with us for under 2 years. This year we are expecting to recruit an additional 20 people to our team."Id say Autosmart is a growing business that has retained a strong family feel.   • Work closely with our leaders to help them embed our values, our high performance framework, and our leadership competences across the business
  • Coach our leaders, helping them to build their leadership and management skills and lead our high performance framework successfully every day
  • Run immersive fast track leadership inductions for new Managers
  • Encourage a culture where training drives high performance
  • Help to develop and improve our frameworks and training material, designing, and writing inspiring material and workshops
  • Deliver our leadership and management modules, helping our leaders to lead consistently andmaximise their people development skills
  • Help us gain Best Companies accreditation, contributing to our post employee survey action plan, and supporting leaders to improve motivation, engagement, and retention
  • Use psychometric tools to help managers recognise the likely strengths, development areas and motivating factors of their team and adjust their own approach for success
Skills and experience you will bring:
  • Previous management experience in any discipline, including coaching and developing direct reports
  • Track record of developing and implementing high performance and learning and development strategies
  • Designing, writing, and delivering training material in face-to-face workshops
  • Experience of using psychometric tools to support personal skills development will be advantageous
