Job Description

Liberty has an exciting opportunity for a Legionella Water Hygiene Technician to join our team, travelling between Newcastle and Middlesborough (North East). You will be working on a full-time permanent basis, working 40 hours per week and in return, youwill receive a competitive starting salary of £22-24k negotiable depending upon experience Plus Company Van Plus Benefits.The strength of our organisation lies in the quality of the people we work with. Were proud to employ the most talented, driven individuals within the property services sector.We are an award winning, experienced and innovate Heating and Compliance firmthat is committed to putting customers and clients at the heart of everything we do.Liberty offer professional gas installation, maintenance and servicing as well asenergy solutions, with a strong commitment to value for money services that make apositive difference to people and the communities in which we work.We are looking to recruita Legionella Water Hygiene Technician, to workin the North East area to provide an effective high-quality service to ensure all water systems on site are fully compliant with all aspects of current health and safety and Legionella specific legislation and guidance.Responsibilities for this Legionella Water Hygiene Technician role are:Temperature monitoring and general HSG274 water hygiene tasksOutlet descalingCollection of samples from domestic water systems, and submission for laboratory analysisTMV servicing and maintenanceChlorination and disinfection worksCold water storage tank cleaning and disinfection, which includes handling and dosing chemicalsShowerhead cleaning and disinfectionCold water storage tank and calorifier inspectionsPreparing and completing job sheets by handEnsuring there is a full working set of equipment and P.P.E prior to attending site workWhat we are looking for in our ideal Legionella Water Hygiene Technician:C&G Certification Responsible Person Water qualificationDemonstrated working experience of (HSG274 Part 2), HSE Approved Code of Practice L8, Health Technical Legionella AwarenessWater monitoring and Tank InspectionRisk Assessment AppreciationH&S at Work Act & Regulations AppreciationAsbestos Awareness (Desirable)Full driving licenseWe offer a range of benefits for a rewarding career including though not limited to:
