  • Support the Head of Information Systems with all activities related with Administration, control, planning and Implementation of technology infrastructure required to support all business processes of the organisation in Europe.
  • Prepare company systems plans which define the departments objectives and handle all IT projects related to infrastructure to support business needs and maintain and improve IT services.
  • Provide 1st line technical support for hardware or software problems.
  • Answer queries via phone, email, online tickets (MIS Help Desk application), maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles
  • Take ownership of user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.
  • Log all calls and issues on the logging systems.
  • Escalate issues where necessary.
  • Support users in the use of Computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice.
  • To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house and maintain relationships with outside service providers for second line support
  • Liaise with MIS department in USA to ensure maintenance of service.
About you:
  • You will have previous experience working within an IT support role
  • Ideally you will be Comp/TIA qualified, or hold a degree in IT or similar related field, however this is not essential
  • You will be solutions focused and strive for excellence in all aspects of the role
  • You must be familiar with complex hardware and software issues and their associated fixes
  • You will be fully available to work on site.
