Industrial Process Engineer (Supervisor)DurhamWe are working for a leading global Tier 1 Automotive supplier in their search for a Senior Industrial Process Engineer to assist with continuous improvement activities and improve OEE across the site.Salaryof an Industrial Process Engineer (Supervisor)Up to £45,000Job Description of an Industrial Process Engineer (Supervisor)

  • Create documentation of the production equipment and submit production equipment specification to possible suppliers for RFQ.
  • Performs initial sample production (PPAP)
  • Create Process flow charts.
  • Create Process FMEA (PFMEA)
  • Create Production line layout plan including Material Flow and Supply Concepts.
  • Create Equipment Maintenance Concept and Plans.
  • Carry out Supplier Comparison Matrix.
  • Carry out Design for Manufacture Review (DFMEA)
  • Create Industrial Engineering and Production Documentation including SOPs.
    • Skills & experienceof an Industrial Process Engineer (Supervisor)
  • Previous experience in production engineering is essential, ideally in an Automotive environment.
  • Qualified to at least HNC/HND level in Engineering.
  • Experience of Lean assembly line design.
  • Experience of lean manufacturing with the ability to implement.
  • Ability to interpret and analyse engineering drawings.
