Job Description

We are currently hiring Trainee Water Hygiene Technicians in (Glasgow/Fife/Perth/Lanarkshire areas)In his role you will be trained to expert level in how to successfully provide water hygiene maintenance services. This training will be a mixture of shadowing fully qualified engineers, classroom based activities and online learning courses. Please notethat these are mobile roles that may involve working away from time to time as company provides nationwide cover.The main purpose of this role is to complete routine maintenance activities as instructed and ensuring work orders are fully followed and completed. Undertake remedial works as a second man and in accordance with current standards as and when required.

  • Site-based delivery of a range of water hygiene related services

The ideal candidate for this role will be technically minded with an interest in engineering or a science based discipline. Able to follow instruction in a highly regulated environment. Have strong IT skills and be able to carry out fact finds relating tojobs. In this role you may have to deal with customer/client directly so an engaging manner and friendly disposition are imperative ensuring that company image and standards are maintained.
  • Self-motivation to work efficiently on your own initiative
  • A full, clean driving licence
  • Flexibility to work across Scotland as required
  • A knowledge of hot and cold water systems would be advantageous
  • A knowledge of legionella control in accordance with ACOP L8 & HSG274 would be advantageous but not essential
