Engineering Service ManagerSalary:£ 55,000 – 60,000Location:Office is located near Glasgow - role covers areas inclusive of Scotland and down to ManchesterBrief description of the availability of the role:An exciting opportunity has become available at a leading Engineering Site Solutions company in Scotland and the North of England. This role has emerged due to company growth. We are searching for an experienced and dedicated hands-on Engineering Managerwho will lead a small team of site Technicians. This company is a market leader in a growing sector, so there are plenty of opportunities for career development.As the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:

Manage, train and develop a small team of Site Technicians to deliver the best possible service to clients.
Operate within a customer-centric company, where going the extra distance is standard practice.
Drive the company’s strategy and ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Upon completion of site-surveys, generate quotations for maintenance contracts, refurbishment contracts etc.

Skills required for this role:

Managing, train and develop a small team of Site Technicians to deliver the best possible service to clients.

Drive the company’s strategy and ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Upon completion of a site survey, you will generate quotations for maintenance contracts, refurbishment contracts etc.

Skills required for Engineering Manager:

A minimum of 5 years in an Engineering or Technical field to level 3.
Preferably experience within Utilities Engineering.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills with a keen focus on accuracy
Demonstrated ability to produce precise and well-planned quotations.
Leadership skills enabling the encouragement, development and enhancement of your team’s productivity.
