Salary £8,245.55 per annumFixed-Term Contract | 22.5 Hours per week | Term-time ContractA Food Service Assistant is needed at this Independent School to work alongside our Prep School Catering Team to ensure an efficient daily service to our pupils, guests and colleagues over the lunchtime period. The main duties will include working in a smallteam to ensure the daily tasks of serving on the counter, washing up, clearing away, wiping down surfaces and mopping floors are carried out.The successful applicant must have a positive can-do attitude towards customer service, including working with young people, together with an interest in food service and the associated duties of working in a kitchen environment. It is important that youare able to work well with others and able to carry out a range of catering and cleaning duties within a busy environment to ensure an excellent daily food service.Felsted School is rated Excellent in every aspect by the Independent Schools Inspectorate. Further information can be found within the job description.This role is a fixed-term position until Easter 2022 working during term-time (34 weeks per year) plus two additional weeks both within and outside of term-time for meetings, training, kitchen cleaning and School events.
