Are these skills you can bring to the role as PA the Deputy Director of EngagementYour role in saving natureOur client, a nature conservation charity, are recruiting a Principal Administrators to support the Deputy Directors of Engagement within the Fundraising and Communications Directorate for 9 months. This role will provide first line response and dedicated PA support to enable the Deputy Director of Engagement to carry out their role as efficiently as possible.You’ll develop a strong understanding of the requirements of this senior leadership role to be able to pre-empt and manage demands. You’ll see potential issues on the horizon and be proactive in solving them as well as dealing with confidential and sensitive information appropriately.You’ll be motivated to work as part of the network of PA’s across the charity, providing comprehensive administrative support and making links across the Directorates. Developing and establishing relationships with colleagues at all levels will really motivate you along with representing the organisation with external partners, agencies and other third parties. Great communication skills via phone, email and face to face will therefore be key.There’ll be a variety of administrative tasks including, managing a complex diary, organising and facilitating large meetings and providing support to the Engagement Senior Leadership Team. The day will bring variety and pace, so you’ll be hungry to develop new ways to do things, look for efficiencies and improvements and bring an organised approach to competing priorities. Above all else, you’ll be an advocate for saving nature. Nature’s in big trouble - the climate crisis and loss of habitat are pushing some of our best loved species towards extinction.
