Annual Salary: £30,000 - £35,000, plus paid overtime

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global leader in special purpose machinery manufacturing. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced engineers and recent graduates to work on world-class machinery, with fantastic trainingand development opportunities. The role includes a unique overtime payment scheme, offering the potential for significant earnings on top of your base salary. Day-to-day of the role:

Design and develop machinery using Solidworks, ensuring all specifications meet the highest standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing and meet customer requirements.
Conduct design reviews and present technical details to stakeholders.
Manage projects from concept through to completion, including testing and validation.
Continuously improve design processes and methodologies.
Provide technical support to the manufacturing and assembly teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Experience in sheet metal or machinery design is advantageous, but recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
Proficiency in Solidworks or similar CAD software.
Must have a driving licence and access to own vehicle due to the site location.
Must be eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
