Job Description

Position: Engineering Stores ControllerLocation: Potton, near Biggleswade, BedfordshireWe are currently seeking a skilled Engineering Stores Controller to join a prominent food manufacturing company located in Potton, near Biggleswade. As an integral member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting Engineering teams to surpasskey performance indicators (KPIs) related to schedule compliance, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), work volume, and inventory levels.Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to exceed KPIs for schedule compliance, PPMs, work volume, and inventory levels.
  • Work closely with the Engineering Planner to identify, catalogue, and ensure the availability of appropriate engineering spares and inventory to enhance asset reliability.
  • Assist in planning and organizing maintenance activities across the manufacturing plant.
  • Drive a proactive approach to prevent equipment failure and downtime.
Skills Required:
  • Engineering Stores experience within the GMP Manufacturing industry (preferred).
  • Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems, particularly Shire/Pirana.
  • Ability to identify key engineering equipment such as PLCs, servo drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, etc.
  • Experience working with maintenance planning software.
  • Background in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
