Employee Relations Advisor Reference: DEC20237615Location: Flexible in UKSalary: £30,940.00 - £35,490.00 Per AnnumBenefits: Pension, Annual Leave, Life AssuranceHours: 30 hours per weekContract: 1x 18 months FTC, 1x Maternity CoverDue to an internal promotion and maternity leave, we require two employee relations advisers to join our successful team.As an Employee Relations Adviser you will work to provide advice and guidance to managers on HR related issues, such as conduct, absence, capability, grievance and structural changes.The role requires an individual who is solutions focussed and can adapt their approach to suit varied situations, providing managers with relevant, pragmatic advice and options. Excellent communication skills are a must. Experience of coaching managers wouldbe advantageous.You will support a specified area of our organisation, so have the opportunity to build good working relationships and an understanding of business demands and pressures in that area. Good team working skills are expected as not only will you work closelywith colleagues in the ERA team, you will also work closely with our Resourcing, People Business Partners, Finance, Safeguarding and HR Admin teams.The successful candidate must be qualified to CIPD level 5, or be working towards this, or have equivalent knowledge by experience. A good knowledge of UK employment law is essential.Knowledge of office 365 and being comfortable managing virtual meetings are also essential.What we offer
