Job Description

Our client is looking to recruit an exceptional General Manager to lead their team in Rushton. You will join them on a full-time,permanent basis, working 5 days out of 7 including weekends and bank holidays, however, more flexibility will be offered as the team grows. In return, youll receive a competitive salary plus benefits outlined below.Salary: Up to £34,944 + tips based upon 48 hours per week over 5 days or £29,120 based upon 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 daysBenefits our client offers include:

  • General responsibility of the public house
  • Working closely with our clients talented Head Chef to develop the team to provide sensational food and customer service to each and every guest that walks through the door
  • Developing an exciting drinks menu incorporating beverages from local suppliers
As our clients General Manager, youll be:
  • An experienced Assistant/Deputy or General Manager
  • Experienced in working in a busy restaurant or bar
  • Passionate about hospitality
  • Customer service oriented, with the desire to provide an outstanding level of service to all guests
  • Financially numerate with a good understanding of profit and margins
  • Confident to train, develop and motivate team members
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Knowledgeable in health and safety, including fire marshal and evacuation procedures
