Job Description Job DescriptionElite Safety in Education are a Health and Safety Consultancy who support Educational Establishments in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Derbyshire and surrounding areas.We provide predominantly Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools with expert advice, guidance and documentation to enable them to comply with various legislation.The role will involve visiting schools and undertaking health and safety audits and safety visits. This will include inspection of fixed outdoor play equipment.Returning back to the office and writing up reports and forwarding to schools for actioning.Delivery of various training courses (training will be given) to schools either in person or on-line via zoom, teams etc.You will be required to give expert advice over the telephone or email when you are based in the office.If you are down to earth, approachable and have excellent communication skills then you will fit in perfectly with our team.Elite Safety in Education pride themselves on not using health and safety jargon where it isn’t necessary, and we have moved away from the perceived perception of a health and safety advisor.Qualifications and RequirementsYou must hold a NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum.It is desirable that you have experience in Educational Establishments but not essential as training will be given to the right applicant.You must have access to a vehicle and a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)You will drive to schools mainly in the West Midlands, Staffordshire, Derby and surrounding areas.Starting pay £23,000 (plus mileage allowance 45p per mile)Probation period will be initially 3 months.If you think you have the ability to work as part of a friendly team as well as on your own initiative, then we want to hear from you.Application deadline: 15/03/2021Expected start date: 22/03/2021Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: From £23,000.00 per yearCOVID-19 considerations:All our customers are required to wear face masks and hand sanitiser to be made available.
