Electrical fixed wire test engineers

Job Description

To visit customer sites to carry out Fixed Wire testing, Remedial Repairs and New Installations and conduct safe electrical inspections and produce reports which meet company and customer standards, to produce minor works certificates for any remedials that require it and installation certificates for any new circuits installed. • To observe and record safe methods of work and operational procedures • To ensure that attendance and work schedules are met and client satisfaction with our work is maintained at all times • To liaise with clients to ensure no complaints and good customer relationships are maintained. • To work flexibly as required, sometimes at night, sometimes far from home to complete the work as requested. A minimum of 8 hours on each site for any works issued unless agreed with your line manager in advance. • To ensure that the work complies with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 19001 accreditations • To ensure that accurate records are maintained of work undertaken and enter job records on our etm system or any system required within the set timescales. To be successful in the role, you will need: • A full driving licence • Must have the ability to work diligently, independently and responsibly. • Must have a pleasant customer service manner and a "can do" attitude • Must be organised, logical and self-disciplined • Should have commercial skills to minimise costs to the company • Must be technically qualified to 18th Edition (BS7671:2018) / C&G 2391, Must have experience of electrical installation works and remedials works and be competent to carry out the tasks required. • Must have excellent communication skills - oral, written and IT
