Job Description

We are excited to be working with an impressive manufacturing company who are recruiting for an experience Quality Engineer. Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall quality standards of the products manufactured whilst maintainingthe production process by keeping as efficient and cost effective as possible.Role

Carrying out process audits to identify opportunities for improvement.
Collecting and analysing data relating to production.
Identifying specific criteria for incoming inspection, coordinating material review and disposition.
Resolving issues and identifying opportunities for improvement relating to production processes.
Prepare reports - reporting on the quality of manufactured and supplied products.Liaison, development and auditing of suppliers.
Define quality standards that products should meet and devise testing methods
Test systems and procedures
Monitor the entire cycle, looking for malfunctions and productivity issues
Update Quality Management Systems (QMS) with incidents, repairs and improvements
Establish quality goals and track progress towards them

Person

Engineering experience - qualifications or working experience
Previously worked within a manufacturing/industrial environment
Internal auditing experience
Knowledge of QMS systems
Experience of creating and improving process documentation.
Experienced in reading drawings and technical documentation.
Experience in managing quality/problem solving tools
You have a technical knowledge on both product and process. Knowledge in following topics is a plus: quality systems, safety awareness and quality standard
