Job Description

Quality EngineerCan you read and interpret engineering drawingsAre you internal audit trainedCan you work effectively in a fast paced companySearch are proud to be working with a end to end manufacturing company on their search for a Quality Engineer based at their site in Rugeley. This is a full time permanent role on a Monday - Friday day shift with an early finish on a Friday. Your primaryresponsibility for this role will be to measure component parts, report on results and the calibration of internal tools.Responsibilities

Working as a fully contributory member of the Quality team
Being responsible for demonstrating SHE and responsible business behaviours
Undertaking routine Quality Assurance activities and tasks in their related area
Undertaking non-routine and or complex Quality Assurance activities and tasks in their related area with minimal support
Processing contracted deliverables and liaising with stakeholders to achieve document approval
Supporting departmental reviews and liaise with the customer when required
Supporting the delivery of results via continuous improvement activities
Plan and carry out a schedule of audits and assessments with completion of associated documentation and activities in accordance with the QMS
Support of any investigations arising from Quality issues through to their documented conclusion, with supporting root cause analysis and solutions to prevent re-occurrence
Manage completion and effectiveness of Corrective and Preventative measures
Ensuring Quality measures with associated targets are maintained for QA Compliance

Experience

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience with the sample part approval for customers
C literate including conversant with Word and Excel
Enthusiastic, flexible and keen approach to learning, etc.
Structured individual with good problem solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and able to deal with all levels of the organisation
