Based out of Corby, this is a dualService & Support Engineerrole where your electronics experience will help you to provide remote technical diagnostics support to customers and site visits for installations, software upgrades and critical level fault-finding. Our group has almost 200 employees across Europe, as well as three manufacturing sites in Europe.Youll provide engineering and technical support to manufacturers in the UK, ROI & across parts of Northern Europe who have purchased our instrumentation. This may involve travel to customers in Europe too.Our product portfolio includes instrumentation, sensors and gauges such as vision inspection systems, process sensors and infra-red cameras. Please contact us for a full product list of our instruments.70% of our customers are based in the Food, Beverage or FMCG manufacturing sectors; think branded food companies and products youve likely enjoyed with your family. The rest of our clients are spread over Paper, Converting, Wood & Tobacco manufacturing.Some of the work can be quite technical, so whilst it is more fault-finding on modules than component level diagnostics, youll need a strong understanding of electronics with a good appreciation of the Ethernet and Profibus, as our products link into a customers production line in their manufacturing facility. Additional responsibilities could include planned installation, upsell service and maintenance contracts and support the sales team technically.You will be offered full product training provided in the UK, France & Italy to give you a diverse grounding of our product range.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Service & Support Engineer - instrumentation, sensors· Technical support and remote diagnostics from our office in Corby · Reactive maintenance on customer sites in the UK and ROI · Installation of new technology and instrumentation onto customer sites · Site systems and software upgradesPERSON SPECIFICATION: Service & Support Engineer - instrumentation, sensors· Youll have an electronic engineering background.
