Job Description

Service Engineer - Electronics Workshop BasedRugby £28,000 - £34,000 dependent on experienceAn exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing medium sized global electronics manufacturer at its UK headquarters in Rugby. Due to continued expansion our client is looking for an additional Service Engineer to support future growth. The position is workshopbased and will operate from a brand new state of the art repair facility.Service Engineer Role Requirements

  • Repair battery chargers and welding machines under warranty.
  • Inspection, quotation, and repair of customer machines outside of warranty.
  • Liaising with customers in the process of fault finding
  • Providing technical advice to customers and team.
  • Carrying out calibration prior to sale or after repair.
  • Assembling and testing machines prior to sale.
  • Carrying out software updates when required.
  • Carrying out electrical safety tests on product prior to return to the customer
  • Inputting accurate fault and test information in the repair system, including selection of the appropriate fault code for quality improvement purposes
CandidateExperience in the inspection, diagnosis and repair of similar single phase and 3 phase products/technology with a knowledge of electronics, components and the repair/replacement of complex Electronics and PCBs.A relevant electronics qualification is essential.The company currently employs 45 staff in their UK business, continues to grow every year and has ambitious expansion plans for the future.Why should you apply

Hours of work - 8:30-5:15pm Mon- Thurs and Fri 8:30-4:30pm with 1 hour for lunch
