Job Description

The Recruitment GroupQuality Engineer (Aerospace) - £32,000 - £35,000 - RugbyMonday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm - PermanentThe Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer (Aerospace) on behalf of a company that specialises in the manufacturing of fasteners and structural components used in the Aerospace industry.The key objective is to hold a strong Aerospace background as well as experience operating in a Quality Engineer position previously within the Aerospace industry.Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct spot checks and participate in internal and external audits in accordance with the Quality Management System.
  • Promote best practices and help drive continuous improvement across production such as standardisation and digitalisation.
  • Record, investigate and disposition internal rejections (RACARs) and technical customer claims using the 8D methodology.
  • Develop new/improved systems, procedures, and methods.
  • Analyse production and quality data.
  • Liaise closely with production/sales/technical teams regarding internal non-conformities and customer complaints.
  • Ensuring quality standards are met throughout the business.
  • Identify and deal with Health & Safety risk situations.
  • Ensure that all equipment is in a good condition and operates without risk.
  • Report on quality performance through the company.
The Candidate
  • Previous experience operating in a Quality Engineer role within the Aerospace industry.
  • BTEC/HNC or Equivalent in Engineering.
  • Knowledge of 5S or Six Sigma.
  • Leading or participating in audits including NADCAP, ISO 9001.
  • Able to commute to Rugby.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office - Including Excel.
  • Full UK drivers license.
