Job Description

Fire and Flood TechnicianAn exciting position has become available for a full-time fire and flood restoration technician based in Rugby, the candidate will cover the following postcodes CV, CB, NN, MK, LE, SG, PE & LU. The successful candidate will earn £25,000-£35,000. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm plus overtime if and when required.There is also an opportunity for the successful candidate to grow and become a senior technician (if not all ready) and an operations manager.Role Requirements

  • Requirements would be working towards or already BDMA qualified and have experience within the industry.
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Installation of specialist Drying Equipment.
  • Report writing/typing
  • Liaise with customers, loss adjusters, builders, insurance companies, policy holders, & buildings surveyors providing a high level of customer service
  • Securing properties against secondary damage
  • Removing/securing all salvageable contents and personal belongings
  • Undertaking soft strip outs
  • Restoration of valuable items (e.g., antiques, fine arts, clothing, electronic equipment)
  • Removing smoke, soot damage, odour and contamination
  • Extracting water (injection/suction drying)
  • Sanitising and decontamination
  • Mould remediation
