Job Description

SAW OPERATOR REQUIRED!!Excellent opportunity working at a well known steel work manufacturer based in Rugby. No experience required! We are just looking for hard working individuals that want to learn & develop in their career!Job brief:We are looking for Saw Operators to set up & operate machinery in order to cut steel bars to size for customers. On the job training is provided. Duties included:

  • Set up machines to run in production cycles
  • Control & adjust machine settings
  • Fix issues that might occur during the shift
  • Regular checking of output to spot any machine related mistakes or flaws
  • Inspect products with precision
  • Packing duties
Shift pattern available:Monday to FridayTraining period0800-1600 ( aprox. 6 weeks ) After training period, you will be required to work the below shift pattern 0600-1400 & 1400-2200 ( rotating weekly )Rate of pay:£9.50 per hourincreasing to £11.18 once training is completedLocation:Rugby ( CV21) Requirements:
  • Working knowledge of measurement tools ( tape measure, caliper )
  • An understanding of Imperial & Metric
  • Basic understanding of warehousing
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Team player
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
