Job Description

Business Support SpecialistAbout Our client: One of the leading suppliers of components for the Independent Automotive Aftermarket. They supply over 20,000 products in OEM qualityPurposeThe Business Support Specialist is responsible for supporting the brand and portfolio awareness across a wide range of sectors and sales channels. They are responsible for accurate data management and the analysis of customer, product and market data.This role may require travel.

  • Organises and schedules events, activities and resources e,g. local marketing activities; plans activities and projects well in advance and takes account of possible changing circumstances
  • Manage and update master data in various systems to ensure accuracy and integrity of business decisions
  • Update and creates various reports within defined timescales e.g. daily sales report, BI reports, KPI achievement
  • Achieving quality outcomes by understanding and applying Customer Value First principles as well as receiving and responding efficiently to incoming customer enquiries, taking time to fully understand customer requirements
  • Supports the Sales Manager, Commercial Director and Sales Team to develop pricing strategies that meet the commercial objectives
  • Having technical and product knowledge with understanding of the brand and brand positioning; demonstrates knowledge of product portfolio, applications and market dynamics in work activities
  • Demonstrates awareness of the appropriate legal and regulatory frameworks
    • The Successful Applicant will have/ be:
  • Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience of managing projects and multiple priorities and data analysis is advantageous
  • Previous experience of working in a sales, marketing or technical product business is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge and application of CRM, MS Office, SAP, TecCom, social media, search engine advertising and optimization, reporting tools, document management systems and analysis
  • Sound knowledge of specific customer needs and requirements, customer segmentation, product portfolio and product application
