Assistant Management Accountant - Rugby - 6-month Fixed Term ContractJob Title: Assistant Management AccountantLocation: Rugby Contract: 6-month Fixed Term ContractSalary: £29,000 - £35,000 + benefitsHours: Full-time, 36.5 hours/weekRole details - Assistant Management AccountantWe are currently looking for a dynamic Assistant Management Accountant to join an excellent business based in Rugby on a 6-motnh Fixed Term contract.You will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the operational finance activity for the business.Role responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant:* Timely and accurate production of daily sales and order reports* Full responsibility for the purchase ledger:* Code and post third party suppliers invoices, debit notes, credit notes, expenses and credit card transactions onto the Purchase Ledger* Reconcile third party suppliers invoices on price and delivery against the Purchase Order* Supplier statement reconciliations.* Complete new supplier account forms and open new accounts* Perform SAP supplier payment runs ensuring suppliers are paid in accordance with their terms* Liaising directly with internal and external customers on all aspects of the Purchase Ledger invoices* Providing any other Purchase Ledger support as required* Accurate and timely bank reconciliations.* Responsibility of SAP fixed assets.* Assist with the production of cashflow forecasts.* Production of periodic sales and purchase ledger KPIs.* Assist in month and year end procedures.* Support finance manager on process improvement and automation projects.* Provide any sales ledger and credit control support as required.* Provide any fleet management support as required.* Provide any cash book support as required.Key skills required of the Assistant Management Accountant:* AAT/ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified* Minimum 2 years experience in a transactional finance role* Experience of working for a multi-national company* Costing experience* Experience of SAP or other comparable ERP system* Knowledge of UK Accounting Standards* Intermediate IT knowledge (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)* Driving license and ability to travelRobert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
