Job Description

We are currently recruiting for multiple warehouse operatives to join a Nationwide Fulfilments Company based on the outskirts of York.This work is to start NOW, and will run continuously through the festive period. This is a temporary role that could be made permanent for the right candidates.Job duties in this role will include;

Pick and check client orders

Check and pack client orders

Complete despatch documentation, where required

Ensuring the safe handling of client stock, reporting any damaged stock and reporting discrepancies in stock levels

Practice and maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse

Follow basic health and safety within the warehouse environment

Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Warehouse Manager

We’re looking for someone reliable and enthusiastic with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to their work. You’ll be a good team player, with great communication skills, who is able to work calmly and accurately under pressure. You’ll have experience of handling a varied workload in a fast-paced environment, ideally gained in a warehouse environment, and will take pride in your work.There are a variety of working hours available;Monday - Friday, 8.15am - 17.00pm - £8.72 per hourMonday - Friday, 12.00pm - 20.45pm- £8.72 per hour (potential for a shift premium to be added)please apply today with a full and up to date CV
