Job Description

Stock & Merchandising ManagerGreater ManchesterSalary: Dependent upon experienceHome TextilesI am seeking a highly analytical Stock & Merchandising Manager to join my client - a Home Textiles supplier.Leading a small team, you will be responsible for forward planning for all customers. Candidates will an experienced manager, ideally from home textiles or similar with excellent reporting skills.Duties include:Leading team of controllersPlanning/reviewing estimated greige requirements by season.Having an overall handle of stock & Stock turn.Delegating work and ensuring work is completed on time to the required standard/format.Overview of business area for continuous improvements/way we work.Forward Planning Stocks for all customersManaging a portion of the SKUsAnalysis weekly/monthly/yearly sales to identify trends.Working with Key account executives and Sales admin to ensure their customer forecast are met.Distributing stocks efficiently between forecast to ensure all customers requirements are met.Keeping forecasts on JDE up to date.Checking and reviewing forecasts that are exceeded (PA Hold).Liaising with overseas factories to ensure purchase orders are manufactured within the agreed lead-time.New Lines - Using current sales ratios to plan buys for new product ranges, keeping track of forward sales orders.Planning rebuys based on forward sales orders.Month End Sales reports.Producing budgets and Sales forecasts on a monthly bases. Review performance vs budget.Essential Skills include:
