Job Description

VAC: 373Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer- Immediate start available Based: Oldham Lancashire covering UK (Including Ireland) Salary Circa: £35,800 - £50,500 £17ph when in workshop when out on the road hourly rate increases 20% to £21.40ph the average time on the road is 80% and 20% workshop based40.5 hour contract anything over is time and half, double Sundays and treble bank holidaysPackage: Company van, fuel card, company credit card, all PPE and specialist tools.Company LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner of an award-winning team who are market leaders within the industrial / recycling shredders market. Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mobile Electrical MaintenanceEngineer to join their dynamic Engineering team based in Lancashire.Role & Responsibilities will include:

  • Attending customer sites Installing, commissioning, servicing, and diagnosing electrical faults (Sensors, Invertors PLC controls), on industrial shredders.
  • This position is predominantly mobile however you will also be required to work in the workshop in Oldham assisting with refurbs as and when required.
  • Building strong working relationships with customers.
  • Training customers how to operate the machines
  • As this role is National covering all the UK flexibility is essential as overnight stays will be required.
Essential Experience / Skills:
  • An experienced Industrial Electrician ideally from one of the following industries: Recycling, manufacturing / production or Agricultural
  • Direct experience on machines such as shredders, crushers or screeners is a distinct advantage.
  • Well-presented and enjoys working in a client facing role as excellent customer service is an essential part of this role.
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility is required in relation to working hours to ensure that jobs are finished.
Additional Package Information:
  • Holidays: 28 including bank holidays
  • Full training on niche market machinery
  • Core contract hours 40.5 per week any hours worked over will be paid at time and half, Sundays double time, bank holidays treble time. (Plenty of overtime available)
Salary: £17ph basic (Neg) plus 20% = £21.40ph the additional 20% is for any time spent outside of workshop attending customer sites, on average 80% of time will be spent outside of workshop on customer sites carrying out installations, servicing, commissioning,and attending breakdowns which increases earning potential considerably.Weekend overtime on average 1 in 4 weekend at a rate of time and a half on Saturdays, and double time on SundaysIf you are looking to join a fantastic organisation that is one of the leaders in their field, then we need to speak to you today.
