Job Description

Start Date: ImmediatePay: KR3Do you have experience in supporting teaching and learning in Key Stage 2 Are you an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who can show initiative and enjoys working with children in a primary school We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work with a well behaved and motivated child who has medical needs.We are looking for the right person who will:

  • Work in partnership with our Year 5 teaching team and the SENCO to support the childs medical needs
  • Deliver high quality learning support to enable children to make accelerated progress across the curriculum
  • Be organised, flexible and willing to use your initiative in order to meet childrens needs
  • Have a positive outlook, with a good sense of humour and high expectations of our children.
  • We are looking for candidates who can support the positive caring ethos of our school and who have the qualifications, experience and willingness to form and sustain positive relationships with children and staff, and be flexible in their approach to meet our childrens needs.Candidates should have the minimum qualifications of 5 GCSEs with a good pass including English and Maths, and/ or NVQ Level 3 or above. Candidates must have experience of supporting children in a primary school setting and experience of supporting children with medical needs would be beneficial although not essential as full training would be given.Please make sure that your application reflects the full range of skills and experience which you would bring to the post, which would make you the ideal candidate.As a school we will offer you:
