Security Operations ManagerEmployment Type - Full TimeWarrington - WA3 6GD - Remote First*Security clearance is needed for this role, so you should have active SC clearance or be willing to undergo the clearance process.*A global leader in the IT solutions space is currently seeking the expertise of a highly ambitious Security Operations Manager to join its growing Advanced Threat Centre (ATC), based in Warrington.The Role:The Senior SOC Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management and continued technical development for a team of 10 Security Analysts that provide 2nd & 3rd line support, in addition to the Incident Response & Cyber Threat Intelligence teams withinthe ATC.Youll provide technical leadership and direction to these teams as they work to proactively monitor anomalies and suspicious activity across customer estates, ensuring swift measures are implemented to mitigate imminent cyber threats. Providing comprehensivethreat protection and intelligence services for up to 15 customers. The Senior SOC Manager will also support the 1st line 24/7 manager and be accountable for the successful delivery of all EDR, MDR and XDR services delivered across UK.The Company:Boasting a proud heritage in Japanese innovation & sustainability, the business has successfully operated as a key player across the UKs IT landscape for the past 50 years, delivering critical digital solutions & IT services into almost every major industrysector today.Required Experience:

Excellent management and interpersonal skills are essential, ideally with experience in an MSS/MSSP environment
People Centric communication style, promoting a Community of Practice which fosters a culture of open, 2 way communication in a performance driven environment
Experience in the operational delivery of MDR/XDR underpinned by SIEM technologies such as Sentinel, Rapid7 and LogRhythm
Good understanding of the Cyber Threat Landscape
Experience in threat Hunting, threat modelling, incident response and SIEM content development.
Process focused with extensive experience of problem solving within operations
Strong operational knowledge and working experience of security solutions such as Sentinel, Rapid7 and LogRhythm is required to enable development of the teams capability and to ensure effective delivery of the services in support of service excellence.
Strong customer relationship management skills
Handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders
Ability to present ideas in non-technical business-friendly accessible language

Security Operations Manager Benefits Package:

Base Salary: £60,000 - £70,000
Annual Bonus of 10%
