Job Description

Accountant Our client is a well-established independent accounting practice in Risca. They enjoy great staff retention due to their friendly, supportive and flexible environment.Responsibilities:

  • Full accounts preparation and submission to Companies House and HMRC.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Prepare tax returns and assist with tax planning.
  • Utilize accounting software to manage financial transactions and reporting.
  • Preparation of VAT returns.
  • Bookkeeping
  • CIS
Requirements:
  • ACCA or ACA Qualified or qualified by experience
  • Proven experience as an Accountant in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software, such as Sage, TaxCalc, QuickBooks, VT & Xero.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
The ideal candidate will have gained strong experience working in an accountancy practice.
