Job Specification:The role is required to provide outstanding customer service, in person by phone and on email. To provide administrative support and be the first point of contact to visitors, clients, and buyers. Welcoming clients, buyers and visitors to a busy auctionroom based on the front of house reception desk. Referring visitors to other team members, dealing with payments, assisting with the creation of receipts for sellers, as well as providing administrative support to the finance manager, partners, and managementin the company as required. Answering the telephone and answering customers queries in line with company policies, filtering and managing calls and referring to appropriate members of the valuation staff or management as required. Processing bids, registrations,and results at busy times. Keeping records of collections, visitors, receipts, payments, and debtors as well as recording clients instructions. Pre- and post-sale administration, logging any relevant actions on the company auction software. Extensive useof CMS system, updating clients and buyers records and databases.Key Skills:- Excellent spoken and written communication skills including a good telephone manner.- A track record in excellent customer service.- Good IT skills including at least intermediate level on all Microsoft office packages (word, excel etc.).- A well organised and motivated self-starter- High level of attention to detail- Able to effectively prioritise a busy workload- Smart appearance- Knowledge of Microsoft Navision software an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided.- Driving licence and car an advantage due to site locationStart date: ASAP.
