Job Description

Project Manager We are looking for a project manager to join our team in the north of England.The role of Project Manager will be to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of each projects we are working on.Working closely with Site Managers to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.Key Skills / Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for hitting contracts team KPIs
  • Keep all projects to timescales
  • Coordinate and trouble shoot project problems
  • Develop systems to improve project lead times, reduce costs and make efficient working methods
  • Managing and motivating Site Managers
  • Completion of Site Managers appraisals
  • Recruitment of resource
  • Setting up the parameters at the beginning of a project in terms of cost, quality, scope, timescales, and risks, to be able to manage by exception
  • Attend regular account review meetings with clients
  • Report on a weekly basis to Contracts Team leader on costs, invoicing, staffing issues, client concerns etc
  • Quality Assurance of works completed and signed off
  • Conduct initial project brief with Site Managers prior to project starting
  • Send satisfaction surveys to customers upon project completion
  • Record complaints, develop and implement prevention methods to eliminate future issues
  • See project through from handover to completion
  • Keep systems up-to-date with all project information that requires reporting
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Team Leader to ensure effectiveness of sales and contracts
  • Decision making at all levels of project management
  • Delegate to ensure effective time management
  • Oversee training requirements of Site Managers and Subcontractors
  • Provide a good working relationship between all Ventro teams
