Job Description

GROUP SALES MANAGER - PROJECTS MANAGEROur client is an extremely successful business and one of the largest in its sector in Europe. They have a fantastic role for a Group Sales Manager. They offer a great working environment and an established happy sales team to manage.Areas of responsibilities.

  1. Managing the sales team to ensure maximum performance and ensure motivation is kept to a high level. This involves monitoring key performance areas such as
  • Sales to date
  • Sales for the month
  • Sales for the week
  • Call stats
  • 1 to 1 sales meetings
  • Group sales meetings (internal team and Stockists team)
  • Update meetings with MD and middle management team
  • Sales planning for future
  • Ensuring the company hits its monthly and annual sales targets
  • Sitting in on our business opportunity meetings which is selling the Contractor Program.
  • Overseeing and helping our Contractor Program members
  • Management of dormant and slow-moving accounts
  • Sitting in on sales planning at board meetings
  • Finding and hiring top sales people. We never stop looking for people who can sell
  • Goal planning for each sales person, and ensuring they follow and fulfil their goals
  1. To project manage new projects related to sales. To explain this further a list of possible projects that need taking from say a group discussion to implementation of the project being live.
  • Liaise with our Marketing manager arranging the design and printing of new marketing material possibly requested from one of the sales team
  • Discussing with sales teams special offer promotions and instructing our media team to design the offer in email format and ensure the offer goes out to our databases
  • Helping the MD on new ideas/projects for which he has done the basic planning (e.g new products) and help take new ideas to market.

  • Full set of KPIs given to each sales person every month
  • 0ne to one coaching call every week, to keep in touch and offer motivation
  • Bi Weekly Team meetings (motivation and coaching)
  • Trade, stockists and specialists sales all need a meeting with each group, to discuss as a divisional sales plan
  • Weekly Management meetings So, if you have that burning desire to take our current sales team to the next level and really drive home the team spirit required, we would love to talk. We need to be convinced that our company sales will be drivenforward, following on our successful annual growth rate of 19% average per year, with some years growing at 35% pa.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with an experienced MD in a company which offers security and an established happy team.The successful candidate will have strong management experience coupled with a drive and passion to move the company forward.
