Working across three very different sites, East Riddlesden Hall, Marsden Moor and Hardcastle Crags. Your role will focus more on Community development with the remaining time, around 30% on volunteering. Withinthis element of the role, you will also lead another member of staff.The role will require some degree of autonomy working within the strategic aims and objectives to develop the role.Since covid there have been a number of changes to staff and roles and this role is a brand-new role for this group. This is a great opportunity, and we are very excited to have been able to recruit for this position.Youll work closely with the Portfolio Leadership Team and even more so with your line managers team, as colleagues. What youll be doing Youll lead and deliver targeted community engagement and involvement, working with people to explore ideas and maintaining existing relationships and building new relationships with local and wider communities.Alongside this, youll deliver opportunities for volunteering and community participation, including skills and training opportunities, responding to the unique opportunities presented by the property, building on the work that has already been done.You will be leading the development and delivery of this portfolios strategic plan for volunteering and communities alongside the property leadership team. Managing and embedding change whilst widening and deepening our relationships with existing and newaudiences.You will also increase the confidence and capability of others whilst creating a collective, flexible and inclusive environment for existing & future volunteers, communities and partners. Who were looking for Track record of embedding engagement and participatory ways of working Ability to engage local, wider and/or systematically excluded communities Experience of developing delivery partnerships with community groups and stakeholders Abilityto meaningfully engage with and involve community groups, including volunteers, while managing sensitivities Credibility and presence to enthuse and enable others to embed engagement and participatory approaches where appropriate.
