Job Description

Summary As a Facilities Co-ordinator (Cleaner) at East Riddlesden Hall, youll go out of your way for others, and youll help to make our property an extra special place to visit. Youll be primarily responsible for the facilities in the weddings and events barn,ensuring the highest standard of presentation. Youll also work across the property, ensuring the site is a clean, safe and welcoming place for our guests and visitors.The role will be an annualised contract of 600 hours, which will be more hours over the Summer months, and less through Winter, whilst still being paid the same each month. The role will mainly be weekends to suit the nature of a busy wedding and visitorproperty, including Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings, with some mid-week shifts to do deep cleans and support the visitor areas.For further questions during your application please speak to our Weddings & Functions Manager Agatha Cooper .ukor .Interviews will be held week commencing 1st May 2023. The beauty of this intimate property offers a stark contrast from the busy urban surroundings. Working alongside the weddingsand events team youll ensure the highest standards of presentation and customer service across the property.Excellent local transport links means youre able to travel here by public transport. What youll be doing As the Facilities Co-ordinator, youll be responsible for supporting the delivery of an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service, to enable the successful operation of the property. Youll support the team to meet its objectives by ensuring highstandards are delivered and maintained at all times. Youll be assisting with the provision of cleaning duties, presentation of public areas and visitor facilities including wedding facilities, visitor areas, car parks and grounds.Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert.   • Experience in a facilities role in a customer service environment
  • Flexible, customer focussed approach with understanding of good customer service standards
  • Good organisational skillsand attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to use tools, equipment as required for the role
  • Willingness to work alongside volunteers and is able to support volunteers to perform at their best
  • Ability to multi-task and work in collaboration with other departments
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office)
