HR Business Partner / North DevonOverview:One of the UKs leading holiday letting agencies is seeking an individual, passionate about people, to join the HR and People team. "The people behind our company are at the heart of everything we do - from our dedicated teams to our guests, owners and their support network.The successful candidate will be a proactive, trusted advisor able to influence functional initiatives and objectives to deliver a positive employee experience.The overall purpose of this role is to partner with functional leaders to enable their strategy and bring the People Strategy and experience to life.Role & Responsibilities: Develop a strong understanding of functional areas to evaluate their departmental strategies, potential training, and recruitment needs, to help ensure that the people team provide an effective and proactive service across the business Work closely with people managers and support them through the full employee journey, helping to identify ways to improve engagement and happiness at work that leads to increased productivity, retention and moments of magic for employees Escalate complex issues to the Head of People for advice Deliver effective case management for employee relations including grievance, disciplinaries, capability investigations, long term sickness, and managing these in a way to minimise potential risks to the business Monitor employee health and wellbeing Develop new people framework and policy where needed and roll out to the business Support all aspects of recruitment where needed Gather data, provide insight, updates and reports to support people metrics which we rely on to help us provocatively shape our people strategy and deliver business results Lead employee engagement initiatives and activities with our L&D team which unite our teamEssential Skills & Experience: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects Demonstrated project management, organisational change management experience and experience to drive programs independently Have a passion for helping others Exceptional communication skills with the ability to adjust style to suit the audience and message Possess the utmost sense of discretion and a strong sense of urgency Flexible in style to accommodate a variety of personalities, with the ability to adjust approach accordingly Highly adaptable and comfortable working with a reasonable degree of ambiguity Customer focus and care Influencing stakeholders at all levels Ability to build and maintain trustPackage: Up to £45k (negotiable)HR Business Partner / North Devon / £45k
