Job Description

Job Title: Lead Technology Architect - (flexible home working & Bristol office) - £80-90KI am working with a fantastic scale-up business in Bristol who are in the next phase of investment & growth, you will play a pivotal role in setting the IT strategy and enterprise roadmap to help them stay at the leading-edge.They require an experienced architect to work in a fast pace dynamic organisation to take ownership and be part of something big, you will be a self-starter and able to wear many hats under challenging conditions. This is a rare opportunity to join and havea huge impact within a truly exciting disruptive brand, as such your career with the company will go as far as your ambitions take you.Key Skills:Lead the building of the business architecture and technology portfolio based on the IT and business strategy. This includes:Working with the business and IT to understand the strategic direction of the business.IT Operations team: build a roadmap that takes us from where we are to the target in such a way that the operations team can maintain and operate the stack.Working with the IT Security team: Ensure that Enterprise architecture is secure by design.Work with the partners of the enterprise IT ecosystem to build a roadmap that is truly exceptional.Understand and communicate the resources required for a successful implementation of the strategic roadmap.Clearly communicate Risk and Issue mitigation as well as hold the master actions pertaining to the enterprise roadmap.Participate in recruitment, orientation and ongoing training of new IT staff.Supervise and direct IT personnel as required.Key Skills:Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.15+ years experience as an IT professional.5+ years experience as an Enterprise ArchitectBuilt roadmaps that include the following: HR systems, ERP systems, Finance systems, CRM systems, Integration technologies.Exposure to Data lakes, AI, MLGreat understanding of the Microsoft Azure stack.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Able to clearly communicate a technical portfolio to both technical and non-technical audiences.Understanding of ITIL and good appreciation of how to practically transform a design into a working set of systems."Southern Lights Ltd act as an employment agency for the purposes of this advert"For more information on the company and a detailed job specification please apply now.Southern Lights - decidedly different recruitment -
