Have a better work/life balance and come and work for Outcomes First Group!Job Title:Senior Assistant PsychologistLocation:Belmont Secondary School, LancashireSalary: £26,700 - £31,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Hours:37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pmContract: Permanent, 52 weeks Essential:Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle requiredAbout the roleWe are looking for a Senior Assistant Psychologist to join our clinical team. This exciting role will involve working under the supervision of a Forensic Psychologist to carry out tasks that will involve group work, 1:1 work, audit and evaluation.You willbe working as part of a multidisciplinary team and will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from Psychotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy.Our well-established teams within OFG, maintain a nurturing and supportive environment where the pupils in our care can flourish, always putting them at the forefront of everything they do.   • Psychology Degree
  • Relevant experience of working with adults and children in care
  • First-hand experience of a range of research methods
  • First-hand experience of quantitative and qualitative research, including different methods of data collection, research designs, analysis and final report writing
  • Experience of paid or voluntary work in a child special needs setting and/or work with young people or adults with complex needs/ challenging behaviour or mental health needs
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience of teaching and/or supporting of other health professionals
  • Experience or knowledge of relevant client group (service specific)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle required
