Role: Manufacturing AccountantLocation: East LancashireSalary: £45k (circa)We are delighted to announce our continued collaboration with a Global Manufacturing business, based within East Lancashire.This is the opportunity for a Manufacturing Accountant to move upwards in their career path or if you are well established within an accounting position in a manufacturing production company, we could have the perfect opportunity for you.Ideally, we are looking for someone who is either CIMA part qualified or working towards their CIMA qualification.On offer for this position is a salary circa £45k though very open to discuss if you bring the relevant experience. The company benefit list is extensive and can be shared upon application.This business is a specialist manufacturer of niche and bespoke products which are designed, built and distributed globally. The company has sustained a significant growth path and require energy and passion for your role. This role is an addition to theirteam, due to expansion and a superb time to join the business.As a Manufacturing Accountant, you will hold responsibility for producing key reports and informative figures, to allow the Finance Director and Senior Management to make strategic business decisions.This opportunity would be ideal for a candidate with experience within the manufacturing sector looking to consolidate their skillset within a supportive team environment whilst having full ownership of financial processes and controls.Duties to include:• Collaborating with the manufacturing and sales team to provide knowledge and analysis on manufacturing costs, bill of materials and product pricing• Full production of monthly management accounts• Ownership of cost control systems• Maintenance of internal controls alongside developing and implementing financial procedures• Analysing figures such as stock integrity, stocktakes and product cost prices• Support with forecasting where appropriate and cost reduction targets• Variance analysis covering manufacturing, sales and profitability• Preparation of timely and accurate month end reports as requiredPerson Specification:• CIMA Qualified or CIMA Studier• Previous Manufacturing experience• Understanding of ERP systems or similar manufacturing softwareFor further information or a private and confidential conversation either for this specific opportunity or your personal job search please contact Olivia Horsfield or Suzanne Edmonds or apply now.Required skills
