Job Description

Key Stage 1 Teacher

  • Rawtenstall (BB4)
  • Full-time (MondayFriday, 8.15am-3.30pm)
  • £90-£135 per day
  • Start date: September 2021
Teaching personnel are working alongside a school in Rawtenstall that are looking for a Key Stage 1 Teacher to join their school on a short-term cover basis, with the potential to become long-term. The role is to start in September 2021 and would be forthe rest of the academic year.The role is a Key Stage 1 teaching position, and the class is average sized with 28 pupils. You will be working with a mixture of abilities and you would have an experienced class Teaching Assistant, who will be able to provide support and work with groupsof children. They would be in class on a full-time basis and would be allocated to leading small group interventions two afternoons a week.The school are looking for a teacher with the following qualities:

To be considered for the role, you must have:
  • Relevant experience teaching within Key Stage 1 who can do prepare, plan and carry out assessments.
  • A confident approach, knows how to adapt well in different situations
  • PGCE (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
