* 3 - 4 month interim contract* £70,000 - £75,000Im partnering with a large manufacturing company based in Blackburn that is urgently seeking an Interim Site Financial Controller to join them for a 3- 4 month contract. Ideally, they are looking to pay c£70,000 or the day rate equivalent but may be flexiblegiven the urgent nature. Interviews to be conducted via Teams w/c 24th, with the successful candidate to be in situ ASAP.The client does offer hybrid working, however you must be on-site in Rossendale at least 3 days per week. Key role responsibilities:* To take overall responsibility for the financial management of two manufacturing sites* Manage a team of 3 split across the two sites* To prepare and present monthly management accounts for both companies on a timely basis and in accordance with Corporate reporting deadlines.* Manage all accounting operations including, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition.* Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly & annual financial statements including managing the month-end and year-end close processes.* Getting involved in the development of systems to fix existing issues and improving the system* Variance reporting on financial and key metrics* Business partnering with non-finance colleagues* Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances to budget/forecast to help business identify ways to improve/deliver its financial goals for both UK sites.* Analysis of historical financial informationKey candidate requirements:* Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)* Strong technically accounting knowledge of financial statements, balance sheet and cash flow IFRS.* Team management/recruiting experience* Manufacturing industry experience a clear preference* Hands on, proactive approach* Excellent communication skills* Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment
