Job Description

HR OfficerRawtenstall £25000 - £28000 Page 1 is excited to be working in partnership with one of the UK’s Leading Live in Care Providers. As part of their growth plans for 2021, our client is currently on the lookout for an HR Officer in Rawtenstall. This is truly an exciting opportunity to work for a growing organisation in the Health and Social Care Market.Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Head of HR
  • Assisting the Head of HR and managers with a range of employee relation issues when they arise.
  • Supporting the Head of HR to ensure all managers are up to date with current HR law and policies.
  • Updating and creating new policies with the support of the Head of HR as needed.
  • Maintaining and updating database systems
  • Undertaking ad hoc HR / People projects when required.
  • The first point of contact for HR and Payroll queries for employees and managers
  • Taking an active part in the recruitment of Care Personnel.
  • Assisting the Head of HR in the production of job descriptions and job ads.
  • Overseeing employee checks (Right to work etc)
  • Overseeing all the onboarding process for new members of staff
  • About you
  • Experience working in an HR Position
  • CIPD level 3 diploma (or higher)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Bubbly personality
  • Problem solver
  • A self-starter with the ability to work unsupervised.
