We are looking for a care assistant to work in a private residence in Rawdon as a member of a small team. The ideal candidate will have a background in care or similar. We offer a competitive salary plus free quality accommodation. The successful applicant will be expected to work on a rotating basis which will include weekend working and nights as a priority. The role will involve providing care and assistance for an elderly couple. A fully enhanced DBS check will be required and the cost will be met by the employer. Duties to include personal care, meals and general housekeeping duties. A driving licence is preferred but not essential and the successful candidate must like animals. As you are working in a small team you must be adaptable to change and have a caring and considerate attitude to the service users and other team members.
