Job Description

We are looking for a Learning Support Assistant who is dedicated to helping young children achieve their potential within a school environment. The ideal candidate will need to have a history of supporting young / vulnerable people in a professional capacity.Newly qualified level 2 and level 3 Teaching assistants are encouraged to apply.Details:

Hours - 8:30 AM - 3:45PM : Mon - Fri (term time only)

Responsibilities:

Support and scaffold work with children in the classroom.
Assist the Teacher with the preparation of resources through class feedback.
Work effectively in Partnership with other professionals and parents/carers.
Able to adapt professional practice to support the varied needs of children.
Behaviour management, Using the schools behaviour policy to effectively manage students.
1:1 and group support with the children
Assisting with the delivery of the EYFS/Primary curriculum

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONSAt least Level 2 trainedTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
