Job Description

Process Safety LeadUp to £60,000Yolk Recruitment is thrilled to lead the search for a Process Safety Lead to join a dynamic team. As a pivotal player in process safety management, you will be at the forefront of ensuring compliance and driving continuous improvement. If you are a seasonedprofessional ready to take on a leadership role in process safety, this opportunity is for you!Key Responsibilities-Lead Process Safety Management:

Oversee the COMAH Safety Report, conducting annual reviews.
Conduct root cause analysis for incidents, enhancing facility reliability.
Establish and promote best practices aligned with the COMAH Safety Report.
Conduct and complete process risk assessments (HAZID, HAZOP, LoPA, SIL studies) to meet Safety obligations.

Advise and Ensure:

Provide timely, accurate advice on process safety matters to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Ensure compliance with process safety legislative requirements.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and non-conformances.

Monitor, Audit, and Review:

Monitor key performance indicators and submit reports.
Conduct internal and external audits, demonstrating visible leadership.
Review incident statistics and expert consultant reports for continuous improvement.

And this is what youll need:

Degree in Process Safety or Engineering, NEBOSH Diploma, or similar Health and Safety education.
Competent in Risk Assessment, Root Cause Analysis, and Permit to Work systems.
Work in a high hazard industry, Upper Tier COMAH site experience, understanding of process issues in chemical/hot metal processing plants would be advantageous.
