Job Description

Job title: Electrical Test TechnicianLocation: Ebbw ValeSalary: £30-35,000 depending on experienceOur manufacturing client in Ebbw Vale are looking for a Electrical Test Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.Key responsibilities:* Assist with battery module assembly processes ensuring work is carried out safely and to schedule* Carry out module testing protocols as per standard operating procedures* Ensure that all testing outcomes are recorded and documented* Make sure that all work is carried out safely within Health and Safety regulations* Work with in house resources and external contractors to install equipment and systems* Assist in the training and development of staff to build and test systems safely* Be prepared to work in other areas of the business as demands dictatePersonal specification:* Ideally Apprentice trained with ONC/HNC or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent* Good working knowledge of a wide range of electronics test equipment* Experience of high voltage DC systems* Strong, logical reasoning with good problem solving, data reporting and analysis skills* Ability to follow standard operating procedures and drawing packs* Understanding of ISO 9001:2015* Good IT skills including Microsoft suite* Comfortable working with others, open in their dealings with colleagues* Contributes to team cohesion and calls on others for help when needed* Ability to learn quickly, and to work on own initiativeOther requirements:* Hold a current drivers licence* Travel overseas or within the UK as requiredAcorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
